We provide this as a community service to you because we believe that as there can be hazards on "The Net", it would be useful for you to know "what to do if"...

There are two areas of potential problems, both associated with unpleasantness by other people;

The first is where another internet user terrorises you while on-line, forcing you off the net through maliciously flooding (bombarding) you personally with data.

There is another kind of nasty that someone can do to you. They can send you an infected file such as a virus.

Then there is "Cyber-stalking" - a similar situation to that in real life, where a person, usually a male, decides that he wishes to get intimate with another user, usually a female.

This cannot happen to you if you take several important precautions.
